Greetings, Applivery users! A month after we opened up Google-free Android with AOSP, we are going deeper. This update is about doing more with the apps and devices you manage, especially on AOSP. Here's what's new.

• AOSP apps can now run in kiosk mode, locking a device to a single app.
• You can push managed configuration to AOSP apps from the policy.
• The Android permission selector is clearer, with an admin viewer to check what an app was granted.

🚀 New Features & Enhancements

• Kiosk Install Type for AOSP Apps: When you add an app to an AOSP policy, you can now choose Kiosk as its install type. The device locks to that single app, which is exactly what a scanner, a point-of-sale unit, or a single-purpose terminal needs. It brings kiosk to the same Google-free devices AOSP support opened up in May.
• Managed Configuration for AOSP Apps: Push managed configuration to AOSP apps directly from the policy. You set an app up once, the way you want it, and every device that receives the policy gets the same configuration without anyone touching the device.
• Clearer Android Permissions: The permission selector for Android apps has been reworked so it is easier to choose what an app can access, and an admin viewer lets you check what a given app was actually granted. Less guesswork when you are setting up or auditing an app.
• Push Notifications to Android Devices: Send a push notification with your own title and message straight to the Applivery agent on an Android device, right from the dashboard. It is a direct line to a device when you need to reach whoever is holding it.
• Advanced eSIM Commands: New Android commands give you finer control over eSIMs. You can request a device's EID, and when you disenroll and erase a device you can choose to wipe its downloaded eSIMs as well. It pairs with the SIM and eSIM inventory we added earlier in June.

• Build Download Stats Show the Device: Download stats for a build now show which enrolled device pulled it, so you can see exactly where a build landed instead of just a count.
• Child Resources On by Default Across Workspaces: When you switch workspaces, child resources are now shown by default, so you see the full picture of a segment straight away without turning it on each time.

• More Thorough Compliance Checks: Compliance evaluation got sharper and catches drift earlier. Devices that fall out of policy surface sooner, so you can bring them back in line before they turn into a real problem.

• Segments organize devices and every MDM resource into a hierarchical, tree-shaped structure.
• Model the way your organization is actually laid out, whether that's regions, sites, departments, or teams.
• Resources tied to a Segment stay scoped to that branch, so delegation stays clean and predictable.

• Segments: Organize your fleet and its resources into a structure that matches your organization. Instead of one long, flat list, you build a tree of regions, sites, departments, and teams, then bind devices, policies, and apps to the branch where they belong. Greetings, Applivery users! December brings two upgrades for Android admins who want tighter, faster control over the apps on each managed device. Here's what's new.

• Private and in-house Android apps deploy straight through the Android Management API, with no public listing.
• The new Clear App Data command resets a single app to a clean state without uninstalling it.
• Clearing app data leaves the device enrolled and every other app untouched.
• Both are available now from the Applivery dashboard on managed Android devices.

• Private APK Deployment Through the Android Management API: Send your own custom and in-house Android apps to managed devices through the Android Management API. Your internal tools reach the fleet without being published anywhere public, and you keep them updated the same way you manage everything else in Applivery.
• Clear App Data Command: Reset any app to a first-launch state with a single command. When an app misbehaves, a shared device changes hands, or someone leaves, you wipe that one app's data on the spot. There's no reinstall, no full device wipe, and no trip to the device. Everything else on it keeps running.

Greetings, Applivery users! We shipped our big October release and kept right on going. One question comes up in almost every conversation with a team that's thinking about a new MDM: how painful is the switch? This month, our answer got a lot better.

Quick notes before we start:

• Apple device migration is available now for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS 26 through Apple Business.
• No factory reset. Devices keep their data, apps, and settings during the move.
• You set a migration deadline of 1 to 90 days, and it stays reversible until that deadline arrives.
• Applivery handles Activation Lock through the switch. It removes the old lock and applies a new one with its own bypass code.
• The macOS agent restarts itself if its background service stops, so Macs stay managed.
• App publications can now expire on a set date or cap their number of downloads.

🚀 New Features & Enhancements

• Apple Device Migration via Apple Business: Move a whole Apple fleet to Applivery from your current MDM without wiping anything. You assign the devices to Applivery in Apple Business, pick a deadline that suits your rollout, and users finish a short guided enrollment. Their data, apps, and settings stay exactly where they are. Changing providers stops being a re-provisioning project and becomes a scheduled change you run when it's convenient. If you need to back out before the deadline, you can.
• Activation Lock Handled for You: During the move, Applivery clears the Activation Lock the old MDM left behind and applies a fresh one with a new bypass code. Devices arrive fully under your control, with no manual unlocks and no hardware you can't touch.
• A macOS Agent That Recovers Itself: If the Applivery agent's background service is interrupted, it now starts back up on its own. Policy enforcement and reporting keep going, nobody has to walk over to the device, and Macs don't quietly slip out of compliance.
• Expiring and Limited Publications: Put an expiry date on an app publication, or cap how many times it can be downloaded. Once the date passes or the limit is hit, the download closes on its own. Time-boxed test builds and controlled rollouts clean up after themselves.

• Onboarding With Less Risk: Taken together, these changes shorten the trip from evaluating Applivery to running a fully managed fleet. Deadlines let you move devices in waves, and because the switch is reversible you can pilot with one team before you commit the rest.
